Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. This policy explains what data this website collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data. This site does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or sell your information to third parties.
1 Who We Are
This privacy policy applies to the personal portfolio website of Ejike Goodness Echezonachukwu, trading as Kally Tech. The website showcases software development projects and provides a means of professional contact.
2 What Data Is Collected
This website collects minimal data and only when you actively provide it. The following may be collected:
- Contact form submissions — your name, email address, and the message you send. This is the only personal data actively collected.
- Basic server logs — if hosted on a platform that logs requests (e.g., IP address, browser type, pages visited). These are not personally identifiable and are not stored by the site owner.
No accounts are created on this site. No passwords or payment information are ever collected.
3 How Your Data Is Used
Information submitted via the contact form is used solely to:
- Read and respond to your enquiry or collaboration proposal.
- Follow up on hiring or freelance discussions you initiate.
Your data is never used for marketing, sold to third parties, or shared with any organization without your explicit consent — unless required by law.
4 Third-Party Services
This site uses the following third-party services that may process limited data as part of their operation:
- FormSubmit — processes contact form submissions and forwards them as emails. Messages are routed through their servers. See FormSubmit's Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts — loads the Inter typeface from Google's CDN. Google may log font requests. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- GitHub — linked project repositories are hosted on GitHub. Visiting those links is subject to GitHub's privacy policy.
5 Cookies & Tracking
This website uses no cookies for tracking or analytics. The only local storage used is a single key (portfolioTheme) saved in your browser's localStorage to remember your dark/light mode preference. This value never leaves your browser and is not sent to any server.
No analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.), advertising networks, or social tracking pixels are installed on this site.
6 Data Storage & Retention
Contact form messages are received via email and are retained only as long as they are relevant to an active conversation or professional relationship. Messages that do not result in a project or collaboration are deleted within 90 days.
No database of user submissions is maintained by this portfolio.
7 Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Request access to any personal data held about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Withdraw consent to communication at any time by emailing directly.
To exercise any of these rights, contact goodnesseche1@gmail.com with the subject line "Privacy Request".
8 Children's Privacy
This portfolio website is not directed at children under the age of 13. No personal data is knowingly collected from minors. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through this site, please contact the owner immediately for prompt deletion.
9 Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be revised from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by updating this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
